Looking for recommendations on violin teachers in the KC area, preferably central or south/southwest portion of the metro.

I know the UMKC Conservatory's Community Music & Dance Academy offers private and group lessons.

Hi! I work at KC Strings Violin Shop at I-35 and Johnson Drive. We make and sell violins, but we have multiple violin teachers who work with all levels of students. I am actually one of the teachers myself--I am only available on Fridays, but there are teachers offering lessons every day of the week.
Lessons typically are $25 each for a 30-min lessons. The instructors are top-notch. I am currently offering $20 lessons for beginners who start this semester.
UMKC is also a great option, and if you are looking for just basic beginner lessons on a budget, there may be some talented high schoolers in your area who are looking for a part-time job.
