I'm mainly a lurker on the board, but DH celebrated his 30th over the weekend, and I threw him a beer-tasting party to celebrate. Just wanted to share.

Thanks so much! It was a great time. I think everyone ventured out of their comfort zone and tried some new beers, and also discovered some new favorites.

The Miller Lite was definitely a joke. DH and one of his friends have a Miller Lite vs Bud Light war ? so his friend brought Miller Lite for DH's birthday gift. For the tasting, for brought nice beer. Thank goodness.

I got the "brandy glasses" at Michaels. With the power of their 40% off coupons, I got each glass for $8 and change. Totally worth it.

Very cool!  I think my favorite part was the tasting notes paper you used.  I like that you kept it simple to those they liked and didn't like.  

And looks like you paired the food just right!
