Emergency: Need a wet nurse dog in Lewisburg!
If you want to contact me about this, I'm almost always on Pets, WC or MM. Or you can contact the shelter. Thanks so much!
Just received a call from the ACO at the Lewisburg TN shelter. He went to Wal Mart to pick up donated dog food and returned to find a litter of 5 very small puppies left in front of the shelter in a box. Their eyes are not even open, so they are less than 2 weeks old. The only nursing mom the ACO has is a pit and she is too big for the puppies to nurse. Does anyone know of a small nursing mom that can help these pups??? Time is of the essence!
April is National Grilled Cheese Month. How are you celebrating?
Re: Emergency: Need a wet nurse dog in Lewisburg!
I wish I knew of a female that has recently whelped, but I do not. I work for a shelter in Franklin, but all of our females have been spayed.
?
Is anyone able to nurse them with bottles??
Have you also posted on the Alabama board?
A lurcher would also be too big, right?
