I had a hard time figuring out how to color code Google Calendar. Can you try to point me in the right direction?

TIA

Re: ~*~lizrocks~*~

  • When you're in the main calendar section (calendar.google.com, go to the 'Settings' option in the upper right corner. Click 'Calendar settings'.

It'll take you to the 'General' tab (on the left). Click on the 'Calendars' tab. You should be able to create new calendars and add general ones that are already created.

For example, I have created calendars 'Liz' for my personal schedule, 'Clean' for my cleaning schedule,  'Meal Plan' for daily dinners/grocery trips, etc) and added my contact's birthdays, national holidays, etc (where it says 'Browse interesting calendars').

There are a lot of settings and options to choose from so it makes it a little annoying at first until you get it set up just how you like it. Once you do though it's indispensable.

Let me know if that helps any.
