Need some good vibes!

Just over a week ago, our cat was diagnosed with congestive heart failure.  She has a slightly enlarged heart and fluid in both of her lungs.  We were given 3 different medications to give her and were told that if she takes well to the meds, she could live many happy years yet but if not, it won't take long for her to not handle it anymore.  Well, at first we thought the pills were working.  She wasn't coughing so much and seemed fairly active but in the last few days we've been noticing a difference.  She is just laying around, not eating or drinking and it is becoming almost impossible to get her to take her pills.  She also gets into really bad coughing fits in which she is struggling to breath and almost constantly now is breathing very heavily.  I think I am handling it all okay but DH is definitely down about it all!  He is the one who brought our cat into the family and has had her since she was a kitten.  I hate seeing him so depressed about it all!  I just don't know what to do or what to say.  I would greatly appreciate any prayers or vibes!
