Here are 10 things about me:
1) I love the Boston Red Sox
2) I have been with my husband for 6 years, but we just got married in July!
3) We have a house in MA
4) I have a black lab that weighs 133lbs but he thinks he is a lap dog
5)I love to work out
6) Scrapbooking is one of my favorite hobbies, but I don't always make enough time for it.
7) I like host cookouts/parties for family & friends
8) I'm 4'11 and my husband is 6'2.
9) my favorite color is blue
10) Summer is my favorite season

1. DH and I both despise our middle names
2. I once turned down a date to hang out with my dog
3. I just had kraft mac & cheese for dinner, It's comfort food for me
4. I take my first real estate class tomorrow
5. I've never smoked a cigarette
6. I was born on April fools day
7. DH and I are planning a trip to Italy
8. I'm terrified I'll turn into my mother...in more ways than one
9. I'm obsessed with reality tv and celeb gossip
10. I've had my nose pierced for 10 years...and my parents still ask when I'm going to take it out. I don't plan on it anytime soon!
1. I am an old soul. I should have been born in the 1940-1950's but was born in the eighties instead.
2. I am getting married on October 1, 2011!!
3. I am slightly addicted to my blackberry. And facebook for that matter!
4. When we are ready to buy a house, I would love to buy a farm. Not only would we both love to be able to grow all kinds of vegetables for ourselves, but it would be nice not having neighbors on top of us!
5. I was born and raise in the suburbs of Boston. My fiance is from Alaska. He moved almost 5,000 miles for me.
6. I love country music. Sometimes I wish I lived down south!
7. I have an obsession with Target. I usually go once a week!
8. I want to become a vegetarian so bad, but tofu scares me and I love hamburgers and chicken.
9. I have two cats who are very much like my children. They are pretty cute
10. I joined the nest in hopes to connect with new people. I have found that I have grown up faster than my high school friends (i am 23) and I don't relate much to them anymore!
Ahhh me too! But I find myself doing things like her more and more everyday!! And I see her turning into my grandmother. It's a scary cycle!!!
THIS exactly! My mom doesn't see it either, she makes comments about my grandmother and I think, you did the same thing yesterday!
H and BIL like to tell my sister and I that we are turning into our mom. We come from a neurotic anxious breed.
You got me beat, DH moved about 500 miles for me! He hated DC so it was an easy decision.
My mother doesn't see it either, and she is offended when I say it! But she is the spitting image of her crazy mother. I have to stop myself a lot of times when I feel like I am doing things just like her. I hope it doesn't get worse once we have kids!
FH hated AK too. He was ready for a change and loved Boston. It was definitely an easy decision. And the best one he has ever made!
I don't post here often since it's been so dead, but I'll share

4. I've been married for 2 years
5. I met DH online
6. I can't wait for fall, it's my favorite part of the year

10. I don't get the point of most of the tv shows that are so popular right now.
jmob - it sounds like we have a lot in common. :-)
1. I'm a bargain hunter. I never pay full price for anything.
2. DH and I have been together since high school and just got married in July.
3. I am currently finishing up a degree in Chemistry in Maine, so that consumes most of my time.
4. I also love to scrapbook. In fact, I'm doing our wedding album this weekend and I'm so excited!
5. I like to run and do triathlons. Although, I've fallen off the bandwagon since the wedding, so I guess I need to get back on.
6. My other interests include reading, crocheting, and baking.
7. DH and I love to entertain and have our friends over on the weekends.
8. I'm really a fan of the warmer months. I'm going to miss summer. :-(
9. I'm looking forward to the day when we can afford to buy a house and officially settle down. I really hate moving all the time.
10. Someday I really hope to be a mother. Now really isn't the time, but I can't imagine not having kids in the future.
I'm glad some people are really trying to get this board going. It needs the help! :-)
1. I love watching sports: Pats, Red Sox and Celtics, especially, but I also will follow any major sporting event (World Cup, Olympics, X-Games).
2. I like to watch television: crappy reality shows and procedural dramas being my drug of choice.
3. I wasn't given a middle name (kept my maiden as my middle). My H doesn't have a middle name and we didn't give our DD a middle name which she now resents us for. But she is 15 and resents most of our parenting decisions currently, so I'm not too worried.
4. I have two pet rabbits. They are house rabbits so the live indoors 100% of the time and use litter boxes.
5. I enjoy scrapbooking too. My last "big" project was archiving my FIL's WWII memorabilia and photos. He had a lot of really neat stuff just stuffed into a folder, getting wrinkled and yellowed. He cried when I gave it back to him, which was neat.
6. I have two teen children and have been married 20 yrs now, so I kinda stick out on the Nest since many posters seem to be in the 20s and 30s.
7. I don't like pineapple or coconut, so my cocktail choices tend to get severely limited.
8. I love to cook. I try new recipes and return to old favorites. I love to cook my kids' "favorite" meal whenever they return from camp or some other trip, which makes me feel like June Cleaver when I am anything but (I hold a senior finance position and have always worked full-time).
9. I recently learned how to ballroom dance.
10. I recently learned how to shoot a gun (pistol, rifle and shotgun) and found it surprising fun and empowering.

2. I love to cook, my favorite things involve lots of CHEESE!
3. I was married on New Years Eve because I was offered a deal on the Hall - not because I wanted to be married on a holiday
4. I am a bargin hunter - but I offset my bargins by shopping a lot
5. My favorite holiday is the 4th of July
6. I am an avid reader, at least 3 books a week (most of which are pretty fluffy)
7. I dont own a car -- I have a company car & dont even pay for gas
8. I am super close with my Mom, aside from my husband she is the person I am closest to in the world
9. My dream house is on the waterfront (lake or ocean)
10. Probably going to start trying for a baby soon...and that idea makes me feel kind of bizzare

1. I have been with my H for 10 years, but just married this past May. I am 25 y/o so yes, High School sweathearts.
2. I just started Yoga and love it so much, I feel so much better about myself.

4. Hoping to buy our first home this Fall/ Winter. Would love to live in the Derry area.
5. Love to cruise, just booked a Western Caribbean cruise for March '11
6. Going to nursing school starting next May.....very excited to follow through with this dream I have been working on for so long.

8. H and I are on the five year plan as far as kiddos are concerned, I love my "me time" way too much .

10. I want a dog soooooo bad ! Can't get one until we are home owners........
1) I met DH at a party in college - I was dancing on a table with his g/f at the time. We've been married almost 2 years
2) I've dressed up every year for Halloween, that's 27 years so far
3) I grew up in Portland, ME, my family is still there
4) I'm a med tech, I work (part time) in a hospital lab running blood tests
5) I love running! I ran until I was 30 weeks pregnant, but haven't had a chance to get back into it yet postpartum
6) I love Disney. I've been to Disney World and Land two times each and would go every vacation if DH would allow it
7) I get really into things for periods of time. Last year I relived my childhood by attending 8 NKOTB concerts and meeting Donnie Wahlberg after all those years. Now it's the TV show Supernatural - I read fanfiction stories and plan on attending a convention next winter or summer
8) I used to think I was a cat person - turns out I'm a bunny person
9) I love being a mom, it's all I ever wanted from life since I was 10 years old
10) I love football, hate the Patriots. I was brought up watching the Packers and was indifferent to the Pats until the Superbowl they played one another when I was in middle school. Pats fans were so indescribably rude to me and my family it totally turned me against their team :P
