Green Living
Dear Community,

Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

If you have questions about this, please email help@theknot.com.

Thank you.

Note: This only affects The Nest's community members and will not affect members on The Bump or The Knot.

Fresh

Has anyone seen Fresh? I went online last night to see if I could watch it, rent it or even buy it. Seems the only way you can watch this film is by hosting it (or going to a hosted event). I'm considering hosting a screening in my home.....or maybe even a community event ($29.95 for home hosting, $100 for community) if I could find a free venue.

What do you think?

Re: Fresh

  • I saw it at a community viewing. It was a cool event!  The movie itself is nothing new or shocking, but it would be a great introduction for anyone new to learning about our food system.  They do a lot of interviews with Joel Salatin, which were interesting.  Our viewing, and the one my parents attended, was somehow hooked up with Whole Foods and they gave away goody bags (reusable bags) with some green/local goodies.  I'm not sure if this is the norm or not.  Anyway, I'm glad I went!
