Nikon D5000

I am looking into buying a good camera that also does video. I have a semi good point and shoot for every day use. I am seriously considering buying a Nikon D5000 and was wondering if any on has had any experience with this camera.

  • I have the D3000 and I LOVE it!  The only difference between the 3000 and the 5000 is video and live view.  We just took a trip to Europe and the pics from the D3000 turned out wonderful!

  • I also have the D3000 and absolutely love it! We got the 3000 because we didn't need the video.

  • I have the d5000 and I love it. I've had it year so far with no problems. 
  • I have the D5000 and love it!  It is a great camera which will also allow you to grow with it.  Here are some pics I took with is when i went to Acadia National Park this summer:
