As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

My head always hurts after editing for SIL
SIL calls me up tonight (she's about to be a junior in college) asking if I could help her by reviewing a personal statement she had to write. I say sure, when is it due? Mind you this is 10:45 at night...it's due tomorrow morning. Okay, I can handle this. Fast forward 45 minutes...in a slightly longer than 1 page, single-spaced essay, 4 (count them: 1, 2, 3, 4) sentences didn't require my editing. ::shakes head in sadness:: I am seriously going to have to give that girl a lesson in subject-verb agreement. It clearly runs in the family but at least I had DH close by so I could read over his shoulder and correct the h3ll out of him until he finally starting picking some of this stuff up.
We have so much time, and so little to do! Strike that, reverse it.
