Any suggestions for a 2 day 1 night getaway?
My anniversary is in October and I'm trying to think of somewhere DH and I can go to celebrate. We'll probably only go one night because I do not think I'll be able to leave my son for two whole days/nights.
We did Door County last year, and we were thinking of doing it again this year, but I'd rather try something different. Especially since we could easily do two nights in D.C. and bring DS with.
We're not into wine tasting or anything like that, and we've already done the house on a rock thing.
Any ideas?

I worked at Sundara Spa. Its pretty ritzy and you pay for what you get. You could easily spend your whole 2 days there just relaxing, in the pool, and theres a self spa thing there (I'm sure the website can give you more details if you are interested)
I suggest Milwaukee and do the city thing to see anything - the zoo, a show, a museum, something going on at the fest grounds?
Or speaking of show, what about Fireside Theatre in Fort Atkinson? Dinner Theater and staying at a bed and breakfast?
Just thinking out loud. For our anniversary (this month) we are going tent camping at Buckhorn State Park. Congrats on your anniversary. I hope whatever you do you both enjoy it.
