Re: Favorite Tailgating Foods
I'm the tailgate hostess for our group. There's no cooking allowed where we tailgate, so it's more like a day-long picnic. Everything pretty much has to be made the night before and things that will spoil and/or need refrigeration don't work for us. Burgers and wings and common tailgating food in other parts of the country don't work here since we can't cook.
Pimento-stuffed celery
Apple cake
Corn and black bean salad
Black eyed peas with pepper relish
Cheese tortellini pasta salad
Samoas bars
Turkey wraps, BLT wraps, buffalo chicken wraps
I have a bunch more recipes, so if you like the ones in this vein, just ask.

Thinking of doing cosmetic updates to a dated home? These were our costs.
At our last tailgate party, we discovered boneless ribs. We grilled them w/ bbq sauce and put them on (martin's potato) rolls. Rib sandwiches! mmmmm
also we like to grill sausages instead of hot dogs.
Nachos - bring all of the components separately and a big aluminum pan to "grill" them. Just pile the chips in the pan, top with cheese and melt on the grill. Add the rest of your components (shredded lettuce, chopped tomato, chopped jalapeno, salsa, etc.)
Philly cheese steak sandwiches
shish kabobs
buffalo chicken sandwiches
ham and cheese melts (make these ahead and wrap individually in aluminum foil, pile on the grill to melt cheese and warm through)
