Hi everyone! My name is Trish and my husband and I just moved to Cudahy from Las Vegas two weeks ago! I was on The Nest for Vegas before and I wanted to say hi to everyone here! I love Wisconsin so far!
My husband started working right awy, but I am taking some time and getting the house put together and settled before I go back to work (he was laid off in Vegas for 10 months before we moved here). If anyone has any suggestions on good cheap ways to decorate a very small house, they would be much appreciated! Also, any fun low cost things to do on the weekends for couples would be great too(or date nights)!
Do you guys do get togethers too? There were a couple in Vegas for Nesties, but arranging schedules was always hard.

Welcome! I love Vegas. We went there for our honeymoon.
IDK your taste, but you could hit Target, Big Lots and Hobby Lobby for relatively cheap things to decorate. I enjoy browsing those stores.
I'm a stay at home mom right now searching for employment. We are just starting to plan Milwaukee get togethers. I tried to set one up for this month but it was hard to schedule. I'm in Oak Creek so if you're ever bored, we can get together for lunch or something.
We'll plan a get together for next month soon.

My husband is working at a construction company in Racine, so that's how we ended up in Cudahy. We got lucky on our house though!
Haven't been in the snow in 10 years (haven't had anything except hot and sunny and really hot and sunny in 10 years), so it will take some getting used to again. Is there skiing up north or anything?
