Can anyone recommend a place to stay in the Cape in Oct?

Greetings from the NJ board ladies!

My husband and I are looking for a place to stay in Cape Cod the second weekend of Oct before the baby comes. We have heard that some areas of the cape have an extended season through October. We would like to go someplace that is relaxing..but that things are closed for the season yet...

Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance

Nicole

  • The Hyannis area would probably still be fairly open - that's the main "city" on the Cape.  I would bet that the Chatham area would be a good bet as well, and it's more quaint than Hyannis.

  • Cape Codder Resort & Spa is a nice place with a lot of shopping/dining nearby.  The spa is awesome and very resonably priced.

Like pp said, it's more "city" and more active.

  • We stayed at the Chatham Bars Inn this past spring for a long weekend and loved it.  We did the spa package and stayed in one of the spa rooms.  The room was fabulous and the spa treatments were great.  The little downtown area is also really cute.
