Well I just resigned... (Anyone need a job?!)
Lordy that sucked. One CW is crying, another is pissed, and my boss was actually expecting it and is happy for me.
Anyone need a job? They need an admin/bookkeeper stat, I just left them high and dry...
I feel like such a terrible person...

Oh don't feel that way. You're not leaving them high and dry, you gave them a 2 week notice! They'll be fine. Companies do this all the time...they'll get through it.
I also had quitting jobs..it's never fun!
No, this is the first they've heard of it. I could not risk losing this job if the new job didn't pan out.
I'll send you a message on FB about the job.

That sucks but you said your boss was expecting it and is happy for you, so that is good. Good Luck with the new job and thanks for sending the info.

My last day is Sept. 3, and I start at my new job on Sept. 7, so I have Labor Day weekend to unwind.
I'm going to be an underwriting assistant, Idk if I should say the company name on here... I am so excited and thankful for this opportunity. My mom is an AVP there, so we'll get to carpool and do lunch daily! The salary is substantially higher, full benefits and PTO. I am in heaven. Thank you everyone for the support.

i'm so happy for you, congratulations!!! i know it sucks to quit, especially something really small like where you are now. my job before usaa was a very small company, i did a ton around there and tooting my own horn here but i know they still haven't found anyone that will take care of things like i did. i keep in contact with them and they know if they ever need me for anything i'd be happy to help. the only thing that matters is that you're leaving on good terms.
so happy for you!
How exciting for you!
That sounds fabulous!
Woo hoo!
You have no reason to feel bad giving two weeks notice!
Congrats on the new job! I hope it's awesome for you!
