I am planning on having a small get-together this weekend of about 15 people. We are going to cook outside on the grill, but I need help figuring out good side dishes and drinks to serve with the meat. Any one have some fun recipes or ideas they can share? Thanks in advance!
Re: BBQ ideas
Hi, welcome to the board
I've entertained quite a bit this summer - here are some of the recipes I've made.
Corn salad
Grilled veggies (cut them thin so they cook quickly)
Potato-stuffed peppers (make it easy on yourself and use these)
My Pinterest
The Googlesites Paint Bio
Thinking of doing cosmetic updates to a dated home? These were our costs.
Here are a couple sides I really enjoy, and do well out for longer periods of time (the first and last are my favorites):
Tortellini Salad
Orzo Pasta Salad with Grilled Zucchini and Red Peppers
Couscous & Grilled Veggie Salad
We BBQ like every other weekend in the summer. Here's some recipes.
Desserts:
Strawberry Shortcake on a stick
Oreo Truffles
peanut butter truffle brownies
Side Dishes:
macaroni salad
Antipasto Salad
summer corn salad with asparagus
Sometimes I am lazy and just diced up some potatoes, toss with olive oil & season, wrap in foil and throw on the grill.
Corn on the cob is always a BBQ fav.
A garden salad work too when feeling lazy.
