California Wind Turbines

I posted this on the 9-5 board but I thought you ladies might know about it.  Has anyone ever heard of California Wind Tech program? My DH works in the electric field and has always wanted to be a wind tech.  We just wondered if this program is worth the money and time?http://www.californiawindtech.com/

Re: California Wind Turbines

  • Aside from having lived near a turbine field, I know nothing about their job training/market, but the price looks on par with field training in general. My question would be has he researched companies in that arena that he would be interested in working for? What type of knowledge do they require for hiring? Would this course give him a reasonable shot at a position, higher pay, etc.? He should contact companies where he'd want to work and ask if they've heard of the program. That conversation would give him a good idea if it would be worthwhile.
