So... I really don't like cooking much but do it just to eat healthier and make DH well fed However, I still don't verge out and try new recipes.. so I figured I should ask what you're all cooking for dinner....
I'm making Garlic and Mushroom Steak with Stuffed Baked Potato (thank you Omaha Steaks) and a can of corn.....
What are you guys making?
Re: What's cooking?
Nothing. My DH always cooks on work nights.
I do try to contribute by having a cooking day once or twice a month, where I'll make a few things and freeze them. I like beans (chili, red beans and veggie sausage, black bean stew) or casseroles (lasagna, stuffed shells, etc.) because they freeze well.

I'm not sure what we are having tonight. I have to make a trip to Publix sometime today and get our weekly groceries. Hopefully I will be inspired. We try to stay as healthy as we can - whole grains, lean meats, no sugar, etc. We do pretty well, but there are always slip ups.
If you don't cook much or have little time, one of my new favorites is Good Earth Dinners. You can buy them near the Hamburger Helper type dinners. They have some really great meal kits that you add chicken or shrimp to. They are whole grain (brown rice, whole wheat pasta) and are really a gourmet meal that gives you step by step directions. They are great when you don't have much time or do not know what to cook.
awww evie! i made my first venture over to the local nest board and stumbled upon a post by you!
don't lie. you don't cook. i've seen what you do to vanilla pudding...i think it took me 45 mins to clean that pan.
