Favorite Restaurant?

What's your favorite restaurant in Orlando? And I'm not talking about large chains... I mean more local-type places.

I like Shin Jung Korean Restaurant on 50 (Hot Bi Bim Bop!), Fuji Sushi (ONLY the Winter Park location), and Falafel (in Kissimmee)........ that's all I can think of right now. :)

  • I also really like Yellow Dog Eats... just because it's so different inside!

  • Our most frequent destinations lately seem to be Olv in SoDo and Cricketer's Arms at Festival Bay. We also like to eat at some of the restaurants downtown, like Urban Flats and Tastings. For takeout, we like Tasty Thai, Cornerstone Pizza, Pancho's and Mediterranean Blue. I also love Vietnamese food, but we haven't had it in a while.

For special occasions, BlueZoo and Oceanaire are two of my favorites, as well as Le Coq au Vin.

We also go to the theme parks a lot, so we enjoy some of the Disney restaurants (especially the Epcot World Showcase).

Ah! I keep wanting to go there. Every time I'm in that area, it's closed, or I'm in a rush, but I have told myself so many times that I need to stop in there.

I also love Urban Flats, and Rice & Beans at the Loop. I think they have one in Waterford as well.

  • You need to go there :) They are soooo goooooddd
  • Tobio- We must live very close to each other. I go to lots of those restaurants. Especially Tasty Thai it only takes me one minute to get to it!

I also love SEA Thai on Colonialh. There is also this little hole in the wall greek place called the Mediterranean Deli on Fairbanks by Edgewater dr. that has a spanakopita to die for! Hmm we eat out a lot so I could name great places all day! LOL

  • I love Columbia and Seito Sushi in Celebration, and Sushi by Chef Ha in Kissimmee.

I keep meaning to try Le Coq au Vin, but I haven't gotten around to it.

  • I absolutely LOVE Pom Pom's Tea & Sandwicheria off of Bumby! For a fancier dinner my husband and I love the Ravenous Pig in Winter Park!
