Is it hot enough for you?!
Ok - It's Phoenix, its August. But I'm done. Done done done with this heat. At the gym at 5:30 this morning it was 91 degrees. I'm seriously thinking about telling my boss that we should create a boozecicle hour where I can drink a frozen margi about ummm...2:30 every day.
Re: Is it hot enough for you?!

LOL Stacy. I think in the mornings it feels worse because it is just so darn muggy, I just try to avoid going out until it is time to go home, then it is not so bad
Yes....I agree! It's horrible back East. We had a week of really bad humidity a couple weeks ago and it was just HORRIBLE!!!!
Yeah the humidity isn't all that horrible here I don't think, but it does get kind of yucky when it is humid and 115 outside. Back in New england, it was 90 and humid and gross, but the 115 makes it kind of gross if it is humid...
Now, if it is 115 and not humid, I LOVE it!! I'm not looking forward to temps dropping. Well, other then the electric bill dropping for a few months, haha
Can't wait to meet my baby boy!
I think I've said it a thousand times - I DESPISE this climate. Our winters rock, but it's so not worth it to me for the July/August/early-September temps.
I loved it the first few years, since it was incredible humid back home.
Yah. Ten years later, I would give my left foot and potentially my right arm (you know, so I'd be balanced) to get out of the desert!
I guess it is all realtive because where I am from in Cali we had humity but no where near like it is here. So, while I don't think the humitdity is horrible it is def worse then where I am from hahaha.
August does seem like the worst month ever when it comes to weather here. Yes, I've been here all my life but when it reaches even 90, I hate it. This morning wasn't that bad and I haven't been outside yet but I know it will be hot, thank goodness for AC. I cant wait for it to cool down though

I agree that August is the worst month. By this point you've had high temps for 3 months and can't even remember what being cold feels like. Well, maybe that's just me.
I can't wait for cool weather, comfy sweaters and the holidays!
This is my favorite... We go to pine every year and I love that I get to be all bundled up and build a nice fire inside The last two years we got snow on the last day we were there.... AMAZING!
Oh God...NOT ME!!!! I'd never live anywhere north of SC if we ever moved back there which I don't see happening.
Every year that I'm here, I mind the summer less and less. I never really minded it all that much, though. I do usually reach a point where I'm like, "Ok, I'm over the heat. Bring on fall!" But overall, I guess I just accept it as part of the deal of living in AZ (the same way chipping ice off my car was part of the deal of living in Cleveland).

I felt an earthquake here! The first and only one I've ever experienced.
There's really only a month or so that I think is bad here, and it's just like a shorter version of winter up north. You spend as little time outside as you can, go from building to car to building for ac/heat, but here you can dress cuter, and don't have to deal with dragging in snow and ice on your boots and all the extra stuff to try to stay thawed (hats, gloves, scarves, changing shoes so you don't slide across parking lots in heels, or chains on your tires and having to plug in your car, etc).
I do miss big snuggly sweaters and my gorgeous wool coat at times, but everything else considered, I'm MUCH happier with the climate here!
I don't mind the heat, but hate when it's humid like this! I don't mind too much all day bc I'm inside, but at the end of the day when we have to wait outside for all the parents to pick up the kids and walk the other kids to the bus stop it is pretty nasty! Also the A/C in my classroom is messed up and pumps the mugginess in the room, so it feels really "heavy" inside and with all the kids too... UGH!
My hubby hates it bc he has to work outside so that makes it 10x's worse. If I'm just going from A/C to A/C though, it's not too bad.
I ADORE WINTER in AZ though... makes it all worth it!
We might slightly feel an aftershock, but it is nothing compared to what people deal with where the earthquake took place : )
Oh I'm sure... but it was enough to scare the crap out of me! LOL
lol for sure!
