Patio - What did you pay

I'm getting a patio poured... it's going to be 14X14 and I want to know if the estimate I got was too high... what did you pay?!

Prices can differ greatly geographically. Aren't you getting any more estimates?

  • The materials used can also make a huge difference.  I wanted to use recycled granite pavers but I was looking at $7/sqft just for the pavers and that wasn't even delivered.  I think I will settle for concrete pavers at $2.5 to $3.5 sqft directly from the wholesaler. A friend of a friend is going to do us a huge favor and only charge $3 sqft foot for the remaining materials and labor but the going rate in my area (Cape Cod) is closer to $9 sqft for installation.
  • sorry, ignore me, I just realized you wrote "poured"

Agreed.  We had ours done and got at least 5 estimates.  The prices varied a lot.  Our pour was 17x30

  • We looked into it but it was too expensive this year.  It all depends, are you having it colored or stamped?  If I remember correctly a basic grey poured patio was $4/sqft, colored made it more like $6-7/sqft and stamped was closer to $12/sqft.  Definately get more quotes to determine the price in your area.
