I'm looking for the perfect pair of nude/neutral heels. Ya know, to elongate my legline and whatnot. Preferably with a not too tall heel, but nothing matronly. Also under $100. I've checked out Zappos but didn't see anything that got me excited. shoe shopping is hard. I think I like these but I don't know....

Also, what does everyone think of the trend of brogues? I think I'm a nay on that one.

i like those heels but they are pretty high.

Those are nice, but I also find them too tall (really the arc of the shoe would kill me).  I am also not a fan of brogues, i think they make one look clumpy and not flattering.

Well I didn't say that *I* liked them either.  I was just trying to find something with a lower heel!

And I guess I like brogues.  I think of them as spectators.  I like 'em, but I doubt I'd ever buy a pair.

I don't understand what's wrong with the Calvin Klein ones Cali posted.  They're completely inoffensive.  They're the Saltines and Ginger Ale of shoes.

My bad.  PDX's reputation for footware is preceding you.

I wore brogues (although I didn't know that is what they were called) with my witch halloween costume last year.  I liked them for that.
