Skiiers
I am a novice skier and need to get new ski poles. I have K2 skis (love them) I was looking at K2 3 karats- anyone a fan? What would you recommend?
FYI- I need ski poles 42 or 44

For me, poles don't matter quite as much as the quality of the skis themselves. I'm not sure about other nesties, but I'd rather blow my wad on a great pair of skis and a "meh" set of poles, especially if you're a novice skier.
As a recreational skier, I don't think the type of poles matter that much, just that you get the correct size. Chances are good you are going to lose one or break one, so I wouldn't spend money on a specific brand. Get what's on sale.
Ditto this. Don't waste your money on poles at this stage in the game.
