Ok, I'm going insane. My K teacher is in the BITSA program and her mentor teacher is making me crazy. Now she doesn't like our math program. We have been using Everyday Math by McGraw Hill. She says it isn't detailed enough so now I'm considering Growing up with Mathematics.
Unfortunately I just can't afford an $800 math program (we've changed programs every year) ... plus she wants me to get a Social Studies (Houghton Miffin) curriculum.
Any suggestions? I haven't figured out what we're going to do with the rest of the OC stuff as I just looked at it online and the teacher books are $690 and that's not getting the rest to go with it.
Thoughts??? HELP!!
Re: Marina ...
i wish you would have told me about 2 weeks ago. we had sample math program that we reviewed last year. we just got rid of them last week.
but i might have an idea.. i will email you later tonight.
well, my idea will noy work. i was going to pass along the temp password for our new math program. we have our TE and student book online, complete with printables. but the username/password is not working. which i am actually pissed about because they are suppose to give us our own user name before they took the temp one away. but that did not happen.
anyway, the program we are using sells an ebook (dvd-rom) of the TE and it includes all the worksheets. http://www.schooldirect.com/store/ProductCatalogController?cmd=Browse&subcmd=LoadDetail&frontOrBack=F&division=S01&ID=1006100000024479&level1Code=3&new_from_code=0&new_to_code=6&gradeLevel=0&sortProductsBy=SEQ
it is the first box.
Hmmm interesting! I'll try and call you tomorrow and we'll chat. I'm trying to get my house ready to be painted on Friday at the moment. Fun fun!!!
Thanks again for all your help!
