When you have a friend over...
for lunch or drinks in the evening and your DH is home does he hang around you and your friend, or make himself scarce, or ?
I'm talking about one, maybe two female friends.
DH comes home for lunch and I've had several friends over now in summer and he tends to hang around. Like tomorrow my SIL is coming over for lunch and he wanted to schedule his lunch so he was here when she was here which I said I didn't want him to do. I said he was like a third wheel and he thinks I'm being pathetic.
What happens in your house?
Re: When you have a friend over...
Our house is a bungalow with an unfinished basement, so there aren't many places for him to go. He usually goes in the office, or I do depending whose friend it is. If the friend isn't a mutual friend then he will stay and chat for a bit, but then leaves us to chat.
When I have visited friends the same thing usually happens; they chat for a bit and then go to another room.
This.
Depends who it is. If its someone that he is equally as close with he stays but if its one of my gf from highschool or something he will chat and then take off.
