The verdict is.....
As I suspected, I have a cyst on my ovary that is 4 cm. I have a follow up U/S on Sept 20th to see if it has resolved. I have been having some severe pain that literally takes my breath away but it only happens every other day or so and only lasts for a few minutes. I was instructed to go to the ER if it ever happens and lasts for more than a few minutes.
Wow! It sounds nasty, but I have been here and done this before.....it has just been about 10 years since the last one. And I have never been told before the size of my cysts so am not sure what the average size is.

If you ever want someone to watch Emma so you can rest, let me know. I know you don't have family in town and I would be happy to help if you ever want a break.
