Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Work vent
We have to do some major work on our website on the internal structure. Basically it is going to be best to start from scratch and switch to a different system. I will have to wait until Jan before that can happen (if approved in our budget). Until then, I have to pay an hourly fee which adds up quickly! My boss keeps asking coming up with all these ideas on how the website should be changed (as on now, not with the new system) and keeps asking why I'm neglecting the site. Then she asked why I was cutting back on advertising. "because I'm running over budget"..."why are you running over budget"...."because website changes have been way more than we budgeted" ..."ohhh....ok"
then five minutes late...you should check out so and so site, to see how they do this, we really should do this (head smack!)
Re: Work vent
It would be like agreeing to completely redo your kitchen in a few months. Then your husband comes home with new cabinet door knobs to touch up the current cabinets, however the new doors won't stay in the new kitchen because your new cabinets will already have knobs. Then he comes home with a new paint color to fresh things up, however when you redo the kitchen it will be totally different color.
So in other words, ITS ALL A FREAKIN WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!!
This is exactly what we are running into right now with our website. My boss spent a lot of money to get it functioning, and now wants to make all kinds of changes, but the money is not there right now to make these changes. So now it's basically useless.
