BBQ Adult Activities

Hubby & I are having a "Pre-Labor Day/Welcome to Our Home" BBQ next Saturday.  We have invited all of our family, friends, and co-workers to come to our home and have a good time.  We are having lots of food, and plan on having a lot of activities to keep the kids busy (pi?ata, outside bouncer/moonwalk, bubbles, pin the tail on the donkey, etc), but wondering if there are any good outside games/activities for adults.

 

We have a nice size backyard, but once we put up the bouncer, and setup some extra eating tables outside, I wouldn't want to put something else up big like volleyball.  I'm going to have playing cards available and dominos, but wondering if there are any other activities that would be fun for the adults.  Any ideas?

We either play Catch Phrase or cards outside when we have people over. Do you own a bag set? We play bags too and it doesn't take up much space.

Aside from card/drinking games, my friends usually play cornhole (you can make the board--buying one is expensive).  That's super casual.  If we're feeling more organized, we like Catch Phrase or Taboo--you don't need a board or elaborate set up and you can have as many or as few players as you want.

What about corn hole, horseshoes or ladder ball?  Those are always fun.

There are a ton of Minute to Win it type games that can work for a bbq.
Its funny, I can't stand to watch the show but the games are great!
Super Coin - Basically Quarters
Separation Anxiety
Slaying the Paper Dragon - You need Large Rolls of Crepe Paper (I get them at the Dollar Store) This one is the most visually awesome for the group to watch.
