What games are you going to this year?

Either pro or college.

In November, we have 2nd row seats to see the Cowboys vs. Packers!! I am so excited! I hate the Cowboys as much as I love the Packers.

In October, we're also going to see the Packers play at Fed Ex vs the Redskins because my boyfriend's brother is a skins fan and we live in Maryland so it's close.

Re: What games are you going to this year?

  • I don't know.  DH works at a D-I NCAA school, so it's whatever his friends at other universities can hook us up with.  He has friends who work with the NFL too, so again, it's who can give us freebies.

Plus I work at an airline, so going to games anywhere is not an issue - it's basically what's available when.

I swim because I'm too damned sexy for a sport that requires real clothing.
  • We have tickets to the Saints at 49ers game in week 2 (I think).

We'll probably go see a UNR game as well.

  • We are going to every University of Texas home game, and 4 or 5 Texas Christian University games.

One weekend we'll be attending a TCU game on Friday and a UT game on Saturday.

    I'm so ready.

  • Pro Bowl in Hawaii

Maybe a Dallas game if DH reallllly wants to Indifferent

I would like to make it to the Red River Rivalry and Texas Vs. A&M game. HOOK 'EM!

Dh's uncle is a coach for Texas Tech and has already told us we can come up for whatever games, but #1- I hate Tech. #2-Lubbock is in BFE and a good 6 hour (at least) drive. However, I'm sure I'll end up being supportive and wearing a plain red or black shirt at a game. That doesn't mean I'll like it :P

Very nice hookups.  I am jealous of the possibilities for you guys.  :)

We will be going to every Mizzou home game (season tickets).  We will travel to St. Louis next weekend for MU v Illinois and then to Kansas City for MU vs. Kansas.  We are also traveling to Lincoln for the Mizzou v. Nebraska.

We will probably try to go to a Rams and/or Chiefs game at some point also.  I am anxious to see the new Arrowhead stadium in Kansas City so hopefully we make it up there a time or two.

  • All of the Auburn home games, probably the Iron Bowl, the SEC Championship if Auburn makes it (or, depend on who is in it, we may still go even if AU doesn't make it) and which ever bowl game AU makes.

  • Sadly, yet another year where we won't get to go to any Ohio State games. Crying

  • Oklahoma State season football tickets - so we'll be going to most (if not all) of those games. Especially since I'm moving next summer - gotta make it to all the games. Depending on where we land in terms of bowl games, we'll go to that, too.

I was going to take my dad to the Eagles-Cowboys game, but since he's no longer in the country, that got nixed. Sigh. I'm not a big pro football fan anyway, so we don't ever go to those games.

I'm throwing in my own team here - bought half season tickets to see the OKC Thunder play. First game for us is Halloween (unless my sister gives us the hook-up, since she works for them). I am SO excited.

  • I'm a season ticket holder to the Oklahoma State Cowboys, as well. So, I'll be attending all the home games! I'd like to go to a couple of away games - maybe the ones in Kansas - but who knows.

    I'm stoked! EIGHT MORE DAYS!

  • We are going to WVU v. Coastal Carolina next weekend. Then in October we are (hopefully) going to UGA v. UK.

That is all for this year, I think!

  • I'm starting a new job soon and depending on how my current employer will react to me giving notice this week, we may go to the Ohio State-Marshall game Thursday night.  We also plan to go the to Ohio State-EMU game September 25 (we have a military ball to go to in Columbus that night).

We are going to try to get in an Alabama game this year - either October 16 when they play Ole Miss or November 26 for the Iron Bowl when they play Auburn - again, this is going to be decided by my new job and how the holiday schedule is going to work there.

If we don't go to the October 16 game in Alabama, a bunch of DH's Steelers friends are going to the game on the 17th vs. Cleveland so we may do that.  And I'll probably go when the Bears are up in Detroit.

  • We've managed to get tickets to the first 3 Alabama games...honestly I'm just as excited for San Jose St. as I am for PSU!! We haven't been to a game in Tuscaloosa since before we got married and it's hard to get tickets we can afford being so far away.

Not sure which Saints game we're going to yet...definitely will try to catch them when they come to Baltimore since that's walking distance for us. I'd love to go to the Dome but we'll have to see what DH's work schedule is like.

  • I work in sports so you mean...how many games will I see where I won't be working? lol...

If that's the case, definitely the Raiders at 49ers game, and more than likely, FSU at Miami.

I'd like to go to at least a few more Canes games, but it all depends on my schedule at work and whether I'll be able to get time off or not. The other factor? My husband went to Florida. It's not easy to drag him to a Canes game. I broached the topic of this week's season opener and got, "I am NOT going to watch UM beat on FAMU." He's agreed to the FSU game only because he figures it'll be a good football game, even if he despises the two teams.

He also has to give me at least one since we're flying across the country to see his beloved 49ers. That took some work on my part since the job isn't too crazy about us taking time off during football season. So yeah, he's going to go to FSU-UM even if it kills his Gator-loving self Wink

  • DH's dad is a Patriots season ticket holder and we've been given 2 games (I can't remember which ones we have though!). That's about all we'll be able to get to this year. With DH being a high school football coach and having games on Friday nights and usually practice Saturday morning, it makes it hard for us to go to any college games. We were going to try to get down to Fed-Ex field again this year, but doesn't seem like we're able to work it out.

  • We may be going to Florida St vs Miami (a friend of the family's son is a coach at Miami and that's DH's favorite college team) so if we do get to go, we will have great seats as well as get field passes to go on field before the game and whatnot.

DH is also a huge Giants fan (me, not so much) but I really have no choice since my favorite team is 3,000 miles away (49ers fan) so I know we will go to one Giants game this year, not sure which one though.

Other then that we'll enjoy our football package on Direct Tv and watch all the games at home.

  • We have tickets to all the home Ohio State games this year.  I will be really sad next year when neither DH or I are students and we don't get all these cheap tickets :)

  • We are season ticket holders for the Falcons, third row, so we'll be going to those games

Also STH for the Atlanta Thrashers, so we'll get to a lot of those games as well.

Going to see UGA/CO in Boulder and UGA/FL in Jax and maybe will hit one game in Athens.

We are trying to get to one home game, but I don't know if we are going to make it this year. Sad

  • Earlier this month, we went to the Rangers and Yankees game and we plan on going to a couple of Dallas Mavericks games when the season starts.
  • I have season tickets for the Huskers so I'll be at every home game.  We're also traveling to the Okie State game this year.  Should be a good time! :)
  • imageJusLyn678:

We are also traveling to Lincoln for the Mizzou v. Nebraska.

If you need tips on where to tailgate or want to meet up, let me know!  I'll be glad to show you guys around Lincoln! :)

  • My folks have Broncos Season tickets and don't go to many games (but with a waiting list of over 15 years for season tickets, why would you give them up?!?), so I've already been to one of the preseason games, and will go to at least one, possibly 2 regular season games.
