And consider going over and lurking on the Buying a home board. They gave me a lot of good info when we were starting out.
We were able to qualify for an OFHA loan which was a grant/loan. We got matching grant money toward our DP up to like 3% or something. You should ask your loan officer about it.
(OFHA's are actually out of US bank but our loan officer was Beth with PNC. She's a rock star.)
