Day 101 in the wait for our Shourt Sale house AND....
We just got a call- The 2nd bank has signed off on the offer, and the first bank and the seller's lawyer are *this* close to a deal. There's still a long way to go from here, but we could be in escrow in 2 weeks.
I hate to count chickens, but after 101 days of so little news, this is BIG. The only words that keep coming to mind are "I'm going apesh*t"
:):):)
Re: Day 101 in the wait for our Shourt Sale house AND....
i'm not going to say anything out of fear of jinxing you... but I will do this:
Yay!! Getting the 2nd lien to agree to the offer was actually the hardest part of our short sale purchase process (they went back and forth with the 1st a couple of times because they wanted more money).
I am cautiously optimistic for you!! Let us know as soon as you get that big fat approval and open escrow!
I agree w/ this!! We finally went grocery shopping last night and I had to buy stuff to make cupcakes this weekend. I can't wait.
Then let's settle on a siggy challenge! I refuse to change them. Oddly enough, when I started thinking about moving, the first think I considered was that I had jus restocked my baking supplies, and hate moving food. People at work are going to score... The Bakeathon begins Sunday.
Thanks for all the warm fuzzies!, I'll let you know wheat happens next. It just so nice to hear some good news after all the waiting!
