First Christmas
We've been together for 6 years now and this is going to be our first Christmas together as a married couple. I really want it to be special but I don't know what to get him. Oh, and he's in the Navy (submariner) if that makes any difference. Can you please help me with some ideas?

Not sure if he's into watches but a nice watch is a good idea. Don't know your budget, but Rolex has some amazing Divers watches, including one called the Submariner...but super pricey. Swiss Army has cool watches. If you got a nice watch you could have the back engraved with "Our First Christmas"
What does he like to do during his time off?
this will be our third christmas together and we do the ornament thing as well..each year we both pick out an ornament to give each other. its fun and every year when we decorate the tree its neat to see the ornaments again. We also do the breakfast thing...we make all sorts of things..go all out b/c after breakfast we have to spend the day w/both sides of the family!
my DH is crazy sports guy so the gifts I give him are usually sports related..this year he wants a toaster that puts the team logo on the toast! lol
I second or third the ornament idea. Last year I bought clear glass ornaments, and decorated with different themes with a silver paint pen. One was places we traveled together, one was bands we saw together, one was funny phrases, etc. He bought me an ornament that resembled the first pair of earrings he bought me!
We bought our first ornament on our honeymoon and had the date painted on it. I like the idea of a watch or something else you can personalize too.
