So excited!
My BFF has been talking about wanting to move to Phoenix for awhile now. It's been talked about for probably the last 3 months or so. She's a sonographer, and can really go just about anywhere and find a job pretty easily. She's thinking she'll commit to 6 months, and if she likes it, she'll stay, and if she hates it, she's not locked into anything & can go back to Seattle.
She texted me this morning saying she just put in her leave of absence request this morning! She's been in contact with a couple hospitals & imaging centers as well, so she could be down here as early as the end of October.
I'm so excited to have her out here! Even if it's just for 6 months.

I'm hoping she'll wind up staying. The thing that's keeping her tied to Seattle is she just bought a townhouse last summer. So, she can't really sell it right now, and she's not sure she really wants to rent it out. We have a friend that might rent it from her while she's here, so she won't have to pay her entire mortgage as well as her rent here.
Seattle is great! Especially in the summertime! I love that city! Just got tired of all the grey skies & rain! (And the economy there)
That is so great Shawna! I wish my BFF would move out here! I am jealous...
We'll have to GTG when she comes so you can introduce her to us sometime!
