Recommend your general practitioner in St. Paul area
We are looking for general practitioners in St. Paul or surrounding areas. I would probably prefer a female but my husband would probably prefer a male, so recs for both would be appreciated. I am just leary about picking on out of the phonebook without any references. Thanks!

I just started seeing Erin Micalef at the health partners White Bear Lake clinic, after my old primary decided to start teaching at the U. I really like her. Her and her husband both practice at that clinic.
I work for Health Partners and Dr.James Epperson at our Arden Hills location always gets RAVE reviews from patients. I deal with a lot of his patients and they have nothing but awesome things to say about him.And a lot of the doctors I work with always recommend him for follow up appts.

I LOVE Dr. Sheila Flynn at Multi Care Associates in Roseville. She is so down to earth, and really takes time to discuss your concerns, educate you, and come up with an action plan that you both feel comfortable with. She is old enough to have plenty of experience, but young enough to be flexible and knowledgeable on current medicine.
I found her by reading reviews online, and if you do a search for her, you will be hard pressed to find anything negative. GL, looking for a doctor is a daunting task!
Interesting. My mom has been a patient of Dr. Epperson for a couple of years and is not a fan. I don't know why, specifically, but I do know that she is shopping for a new doctor.
Dr. Flynn was my primary for many years back when I went to Multicare and she is really great.

Is her husband named Joe? I think my husband is their guitar teacher! I can't imagine there are too many other docs named Erin who share a practice with their husbands . . .
As for docs - sorry, I don't have any raving recs, but I have seen Dr. Ann Ideker at HP Arden Hills and she seemed really on top of her game the one time I met with her.

Yes, it is. They both used to work for the healthcare system I work for. I don't know much about Dr. Joe Micalef but I've heard great things about Dr. Erin Micalef.
