Cedar Hills Recommendations- Vet, Hair, Oil Change
Hey there. Wer're moving in a matter of a few weeks to this area. We're going to need some recommendations on a vet for our cat & dog, a good oil change shop, mechanic, and someone to do my hair. Also, any good places to eat?
THANKS!
Re: Cedar Hills Recommendations- Vet, Hair, Oil Change
First of all - Welcome to the neighborhood!
Oil Change - We love Xpresso Lube on Saltzman and Cornell. And you get a free car wash when you get your oil changed.
Mechanic - DH does all of our basic car repairs and maintenace, but for bigger issues we take it to JD Autosports. They work on VW, Audi and Volvo.
Hair - I don't have a hair place in the area. I usually go to the Aveda school downtown.
Vet - We like Rock Creek Vet on NW 185th in between Cornell and Walker.
Food - Cedar Hills and Tanasbourne is pretty much just chains. But, for amazing mexican we like Si Senor on Saltzman and Cornell. For chinese we go to Happy Panda (and they deliver!!) on 185th and Walker. Extreme Pizza is on 185th and Cornell and is really good, too. In Bethany there is a yummy vegetarian bistro on Bethany Blvd.
Good luck on your move!
Hey! Thanks for all the recommendations! I think we're going to be living near this intersection of Saltzman and Cornell- the Si Senor restaurant sounds SO familiar I think I remember seeing it.
I am SO excited to NOT be living on the east side. OMG.
Just out of curiosity...may I ask why? I just moved to the East side and I love it so so so much My commute home from work is between 30 and 60 minutes with traffic now, but I think it's worth it...just funny how people can have such different views, ya know? It makes me curious as to why you are so excited to be on the West side if you don't mind sharing!
