I really want to buy today's Kid Woot because it's so cute, but I have no idea who I could give it to.  The recommended age is 18 months to 3 years, so my nephew is just about too old and his baby brother isn't due for another month and a half so he'd be too young.  But look at how adorable that dino is!

You can give the dino to Owen.

Maggie has a similar one that only gets used to stand on and subsequently scolded, so don't feel like you are depriving a kid of something.

I want one.  They have a rocking horse at daycare that Ian loves.  Another kid once scratched him in the face because she apparently felt like he was hogging it.

of COURSE I needed to get the cow.  I have a farm theme in the nursery!  It's adorable and completely unnecessary for my unborn baby.  But it will look damn cute until the kid's old enough to enjoy it.

You're welcome!  I did for a fleeting moment consider buying you the cow.  But then I decided that it would suck to give you a gift you can't use for a year or so.  It would just sit in Pickle's nursery, taunting you.

We had a discussion about the dino this morning but ultimately decided not to get it because for 18 months it will sit on the floor while Jenny devises a series of Wile E. Coyote-style plans to steal it and demolish it.

well now it will sit there taunting Pickle too!  Maybe I'll be one of those parents who feed their kid pizza and put them on age-inappropriate devices at their amusement.
