I'm gonna get it changed as soon as possible. We need to get our passports for our honeymoon (that we aren't taking till he graduates in March) so I'd like to just do it at that point with my new last name.

We went and got our marriage license today... I saw that you guys picked out your rings... that is so exciting, mine came as a set and we went and got CJ's in June... he is all excited he wants to wear it now hahaha
That is so sweet your FIL's threw a shower for you, I am sooo not used to having alot of attention or party's in my honor liek this ... it is kind of fun... I just can't believe that tomorrow is sept 1st time is just flying by now hahahaha

How surreal was it to get your marriage license?! We got ours a few weeks ago, then went camping for the weekend to celebrate. The clerk was so cute and drew a heart on our folder. That was definitely an OHH YEAH moment.
Yeah, we picked out our rings. Nick's BIL knows a jeweler in IL who we go through. He did my e-ring. So we had to go down to Kay's and pick out what we wanted then send him the links online so that he can give us a price. Now I'm just playing the waiting game for him to get back to us so we can get them here. The rings I got are so pretty! I can't wait to add them to my e-ring!
I seriously have the BEST FIL's anyone could ask for. His mom is the most loving person I've ever met. She sends me a txt almost everyday to see how I'm doing and to see if I need help with anything. She also thanks me for giving them the gift of seeing their son happy and bringing more love into the familia. FSILs are so much fun! I get along with them really well and already consider them my sisters.
I am not used to all the attention being on me either, so I was a little nervous the day of my shower, that and because it was with his family. Also, because this was my shower, something you think about when you're a little girl and it becoming a reality. The day passed quickly and I had so much fun! I hope yours is as great as mine was! I also cannot wait to see pics from your event!! My MOH still needs to upload the 8.7 gazillion pics my sister took at mine.
It was totally surreal; I had the biggest smile on my face the entire time, loll but the guy we had I think was board because we didn?t show to much excitement about anything haha. But that is cool, I think that was my OMG this is real moment because it is all official on there with our names and our ages and having to agree to that little oath. It made me and CJ even more ready, it is nice to be this excited because it makes me feel, I mean even though I alread6y know, it reaffirms that he is the one for me you know what I mean.
Oh I can?t wait to see pictures of your wedding and bridal shower this is so much fun having a fellow bride in the same month as me
hehehe We got all our rings from Shane Co. we love them CJ is pretty excited about his ring, and I see him every once in a while sneaking off to the safe to look at it and I am sure try it on haha if he only knew the times I did that with mine when we first got engaged. Since mine was a set I got to see both pieces right away which is cool.
This started a little bumpy with my FIL?s but seem to be getting better, his mom has been calling once a week or so seeing how everything is going, if we need anything, she actually got a fire under his aunts butt so we could go pick out the flower girl dress, I was kind of stressing out about. I am really looking forward to the improvement in my relationship with his family, I was really concerned about that for a little while haha.
I should take a picture of the invite my sister made and she is being really secretive about the details, I know there is something about a candy buffet and a signature drink and it is at my house. Other then that she is keeping me in the dark, which is kind of fun because I want to be surprised. She emailed me this morning asking if I had certain things for the wedding because someone wants to get us something engraved. How sweet is that, and she has been texting me as people rsvp? it is kind of fun.
Aw! That is so fun! When its the day of your shower are you going to have to leave your house so they can decorate? Yes! Send a pic on FB or something.
I agree, it is fun having someone to gush with over all things wedding. Plus you're in the same boat as me with getting everything together.
Speaking of rings, did you see the Oct2010 siggy challenge for this week? I haven't done one yet, and not sure I'm gonna.
Things will get better with FIL's especially as the day gets closer. As long as she's not a monster you guys will have a good relationship. It is a little awkward at times though, just because its your guy's mom. FMIL txt me yesterday "ok, we'll talk later, love u". I really didn't know what to say at that point. I guess I'm still a little embarrassed to say anything, but I really do love her.
My bach evite went out this week. So far 4 people have RSVPd. I can't wait for that. My MOH got us some rooms at JW Marriott, Camelback. So we're gonna lounge by the pool with girly drinks during the day. Naughty presents and games, then dinner and drinks. Nick's bach IS going to be on the same night. It's not what I would have picked, but at least his brother is doing something. We were worried for a while. Not sure what's all involved with that but I heard rumblings of a party bus, bars and strippers. Eh - as long as he makes it home in one piece, I'm good with it.
BTW- I saw your little convo with CJ on FB last night....so so cute!

No I haven't gone one since Monday; I will have to check it out... I haven't done one of siggy challenges over their either. Lol I think it is funny when FMIL calls and leaves a message she always says hello Jenn this is your other mother Hahaha it is kind of cute but I know what you mean, she said love you the other day and like you said it was a little different for me? I do love her and I have no problem showing affection but it is just an adjustment having another mom haha if that makes sense.
Since my sister is throwing the bridal shower then the following week is my niece?s first birthday the funds are tight but three of my girlfriends have said they want to do a small little something for a bach night
I really do have the greatest friends 
so that should be fun. And then for CJ?s bach party he just wants to go paintballing or something, we both are really big partiers so we just want to hang out. I don?t know if his brother is planning it or not but I am sure they will get it all worked out.
That is a buster they are one the same night, I know you were concerned about friends with little ones not being able to make it? hopefully they can get a sitter for the night so nobody has to miss out
