Need creativity help w/ kid's cat costume
Hi,
I could use some creative minds to help me with DD's Tabby Cat costume. I've been trying to find tan/brown/orangy stripe pants, but no luck.
Instead, I thought about getting white pants and a onsie and basically tye-dying both by wrapping rubber bands and using Rit dye. to get a not-perfect but stripey look. Then I'll sew some furry fabric around the belly area and (somehow) make shoe covers.
Any other ideas?

I remember Baby legs coming in those colors.
If you can find womans socks in those colors you could easily make your own baby legs from them. Either get white, brown or orange tights and then just slide the baby legs over them. Same with your onsie - get a long sleeved one, make a smaller version of baby legs and slide them over her arms.
Use the same fuzzy fabric that you are using for the tummy as the shoe covers.
