curious...

has anyone here tried accupuncture/pressure for anything ever? i'm looking into it as a way of dealing with my PCOS and also weight loss, so i'm curious as to other people's experiences. i know it doesn't hurt (the needles, i mean), but did it work for you?

Re: curious...

  • I did accupuncture for my shoulder and it help a whole lot! Its not painful. Go for it is so worth it. I know some people don't like it but it didn't mind it at all. I still have problems with my should its not near as bad as it use to be!

  • I would never do accupuncture because of the needles.  But I did use accupressure for motion sickness- AAA makes "sea bands" that go on your wrist and apply pressure.  I was skeptical but they actually worked.  I used to get sick every time we would travel more than around town, and as long as I was wearing those, I didn't get sick.  So I do think the concept works.
  • I have done it. I had trouble with my back. Pinched nerves. 2 sessions cured it and I've never been back. I LOVE it! I want to find a place near me because I swear by it.
  • I've never done it but G the little boy I watch his mom did it. She has PCOS and she did it when she was going through IVF treatments and she thinks it help a lot with getting PG
