Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

I just read on one of my friends' facebook that there is a mandatory evacuation of the Norfolk/VA Beach area. Not sure if it applied to the outer banks but I know it is very close, so it's a possibility. Please be safe if you can still go on your trip!!!

Thanks girls! Y'all are so sweet. The storm is supposed to be in NC tonight near the Outer Banks. Luckily we will be going Friday after work and will be @ Sunset Beach NC wich is just across the NC/SC line. About 30 minutes (dpending on traffic) from Myrtle Beach so I don't think we'll encounter many problems. ::FINGERS CROSSED::
I'm hoping that we will still be able to go. SD is still not feeling well. DH & I got an email from her Mom this morning saying that she was worse. DH is going to call BM & take SD back to the doctor.SD has really been looking forward to going to the beach. I hope she gets better quickly so she can go. We have her starting tonight & she goes back to her Mom's on Tuesday after school.
