New Survey - Favorites
It looks like every other post and response is looking for some action on this board! I don't remember to check here often, but I'm weaning myself from the knot (ha!) and am hoping to forge some new friendships, as it looks like DH and I will be staying in CT longer than we expected. So tell me a bit more about yourselves!

1. Favorite book or last book you read? Sadly I can't remember it...
2. Favorite movie or last movie you saw? Nemo is an all time fav, but recently saw Avatar and like that!
3. Favorite thing to cook/take out? Cook: hubby and I make a mean fried chicken, take out: fried rice from PF Chang's
4. Favorite season?Autumn without a doubt!
5. Favorite thing about where you live (house, town, area)? Ellington- cows corn and HORSES!
6. Favorite thing to do on the weekends? Ride (horses!), work my Athena's business, sleep in, spend the am and make breakfast with hubby
7. Favorite places to shop? Where don't I like to shop!?
And finally, what are your plans for the long weekend? Riding, maybe meeting the inlaws for a boat ride, spending Monday with hubby- maybe outlet shopping?

1. Favorite book or last book you read? Last one I read was Memoirs of a Geisha.
2. Favorite movie or last movie you saw? Last movie I saw was 9. Many favorites - Star Wars, Transformers, X-Men, Empire Records
3. Favorite thing to cook/take out? Love to cook stir-fry. Take out is Chinese or Japanese
4. Favorite season? Summer
5. Favorite thing about where you live (house, town, area)? Enfield - close to good food and shopping, nice neighborhood, close to work
6. Favorite thing to do on the weekends? hang out with friends, usually at the local bar down the road.
7. Favorite places to shop? I like Burlington Coat Factory, Charlotte Rousse, and American Eagle. I spend most of my time shopping at Walmart and Target though.
And finally, what are your plans for the long weekend? Leaving early in the morning to head to my parents' house in Maine for my nephew's birthday.
1. Favorite book or last book you read? a study book for the ARe exam I'm going to take in two weeks
2. Favorite movie or last movie you saw? I liked Valentine's Day, which I think is the last movie I saw in the theater
3. Favorite thing to cook/take out? Cook: pretty much anything, Takeout: depends on my mood- Chinese and Wendy's are my favs
4. Favorite season? Spring
5. Favorite thing about where you live (house, town, area)? the view of the mountains from our land and our yard
6. Favorite thing to do on the weekends? right now: sleep
7. Favorite places to shop? Kohl's, Target, BRU
And finally, what are your plans for the long weekend? Tomorrow: studying and cleaning house. Sunday: we are going on a date to celebrate our 2nd anniversary and we'll be going to dinner on the Essex Steam Train and maybe hitting up the Clinton outlets or a movie or both. Monday: OUR 2nd ANNIVERSARY!!! I can't believe it's been 2 years already.
1. Favorite book or last book you read? I am slowly working my way through Stephen King's "Salem's Lot". If I finish it, DH will read the Twilight series. Ha!
2. Favorite movie or last movie you saw? Last movies I saw in theater were Inception and Scott Pilgrim, both were excellent.
3. Favorite thing to cook/take out? I love cooking big meals, so Thanksgiving's always fun. I also live by my crock pot in the fall and winter.
4. Favorite season?Fall, absolutely.
5. Favorite thing about where you live (house, town, area)? I love our house. It's a diamond in the rough! We'll probably move next summer to somewhere more baby-friendly, though.
6. Favorite thing to do on the weekends? I do a lot of photography on the weekend, otherwise, I like to hang out at home, have friends over to grill.
7. Favorite places to shop? Trader Joe's, Costco, Ann Taylor Loft, Homegoods.
And finally, what are your plans for the long weekend?Cleaning today and making a trip to Goodwill with a carload of stuff. Tomorrow we're going to Philly overnight to visit a friend.my blog

2. Favorite movie or last movie you saw?Last movie I watched was Killers.. kinda disappointing.
3. Favorite thing to cook/take out? My red sauce.. I make it every Monday night for DH..
4. Favorite season?Definitely summer.. hence the screen name and our move to FL next week! :0)
5. Favorite thing about where you live (house, town, area)? We're moving.. so we're definitely not going to miss the cold weather, the expensive real estate, the ridiculous traffic, or the taxes, but we are going to miss our families and friends like crazy and the opportunity to just go up to the casinos or Block Island.. or the CT Wine Trail.
6. Favorite thing to do on the weekends? Now that fall is here we love to go to wine tastings on the CT Wine Trail or go apple or pumpkin picking.
7. Favorite places to shop? West Farms Mall or Clinton Crossings
And finally, what are your plans for the long weekend? Oh wow.. I must be late to this survey because that was 2 weeks ago! My plans this weekend are a farewell G2G with friends and a wedding on Sunday.

1. Favorite book or last book you read? I recently read "The Help" and loved it. I am currently reading " The Lonely Polygamist" and I am really enjoying it.
2. Favorite movie or last movie you saw? I just watched " An Education" lat night- I thought it was good.
3. Favorite thing to cook/take out? Mexican or Caribbean- answer to both.
4. Favorite season? Summer
5. Favorite thing about where you live (house, town, area)? The fact that we own our house. Such a nice feeling.
