Husband's 40th Birthday- How to celebrate out of town
Hey everyone!
My husband's 40th birthday is coming up, and I need some help! We are going to Aspen with a bunch of friends my husband's 40th birthday will be during that time. Other friends of ours have done some pretty cool things for birthdays on these trips (which our friends take a couple of times per year)- one person had these cute shirts made up for everyone that mentioned something about the birthday, for example. But I am at a loss! I don't want to do that since it's already been done, plus I would have to buy a $25 shirt for everyone on the trip (I think 30+ people). I was kind of just thinking everyone going out to dinner, and I could find a place to make a nice cake and have balloons or something. Is this dumb? Too little? Also, we are from Memphis, so I thought about possibly having an Elvis impersonator come in, but I don't know if that will be easy to find in Aspen.
I mean, in a way I feel like we are already going on the trip and that's a lot. But, several of his other friends turned 40 this year and their wives had surprise parties for the husbands.
Thank you all for any help that you can provide!
