Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

We got DH a New Car...
... well, new to us. 
DH had a 1998 Honda Accord, with all the bells and whistles so it was a pretty sweet car, back in 1998. Of course, it's 12 years old now, so we've been on the lookout for a replacement. It was DH's parents car, but they signed the title over to him. Or, at least they tried. It wouldn't pass Missouri safety and emissions testing so we couldn't get it liscensed... so we let DH's parents keep it.
We found out there was a problem with the brakes and then something with the axels/wheel area, so it wasn't worth it to us to fix the problems.
We found a 2004 Ford Escape and got it last night. I didn't want to take on another car payment, but I think we got on okay deal. It was about 9k and they gave us 2k for the Honda. I've never gotten a used car before, so it's kind of weird to me. I just hope it works out for us for as long as we'll need it!
