Re: Holiday Weekend Plans
With all ther Error messages I keep getting we'll see if this actually let's me post.
I do have Monday off but we're not going anywhere since DH is on call at the hospital the whole day. Friday we're going out for Indian food with my family. Saturday we're going to the ASU game, and Sunday we're cooking dinner at my IL's.
We are going to be doing a ton of wedding stuff. we need to do the tux stuff and picking up some things we still need to get like a card box, guest photo matte thing, taper candles for unity candle, candle holders, paper to make table signs and name cards (maybe programs) gift table, guest book table, we need to do yard work and i want to paint part of the living room that is in desperate need of a fresh coat
finalize the ceremony, (cj needs to write his vows) change the ribon on the favors and i want to make new tags for them... i need to find a dress and shoes for my bridal shower...and then try to relax too hahaha and i don't even think that is the entire list
we are kind of looking at this weekend as out last weekend to get things in order since from here on out is is going to be crunch time for everything else.
Unfortunately neither of us have the weekend off now that DH is working his second job, but we do both have Monday off which I am definitely looking forward to.
We talked last night about going up north on Monday for a hike. Any recs?
We're doing nothing. Which I am kind of happy about, but I am also not liking it so much because my husband annoys me when he has to many days at home, haha!
I have to go to Queen Creek on Saturday for Chad's football game. It's going to be hot and I'll probably look like a tomato on my return. Sunday and monday we'll be cooking out and hanging in the pool I think. Oh and getting my hosue in order for the visitors we have coming, and the party that is coming up.
im having an early morning yoga session tomorrow 6am! then going to happy hour at SI with an old friend. maybe heading out to 1st friday after happy hour - we'll see hehe. saturday pool time with my sisters. sun and mon will be spent remodeling i think!
Well I am a freak and I've been working a lot lately and I'm going to be working a ton in the next coming weeks, starting tomorrow! Today is my only day off this week, then Saturday we're going to my parent's house for BBQ and swimming. Then I work Sunday, Monday, and Thursday, Friday next week. I'm getting 2 days of overtime plus holiday pay on Monday, so I should have a nice paycheck in a couple weeks! I don't know why I am wanting to work so much suddenly, other than it is a good distraction because they are long, busy days.
Wow, I can not believe she is almost here! I remember when I met you at Amanda from Butterfly Petals house just before your wedding. That seems like yesterday to me, and here you are almost about to be a mommy!
Two weekends ago, FI and I went to Flagstaff, and we hiked around the trail that's in Walnut Canyon. There's a bunch of cliff dwellings, and it's gorgeous! It's only about a mile or so hike around the top of it, but you can go the long way down into it as well. We did that and the Arboretum at Flagstaff, which was really pretty to walk around too!
We have wedding stuff to do this weekend... couple cake tastings and florist meetings. Other than that, just spending time together again, since he's been out of town for the last two weeks, and I'll be out of town for 10 days starting next week. I'm going home to Ohio to surprise my mom for her bday. WIsh FI could go with me, but he has to go out of town again before I will get back. Should be fun to hang out with my mom and dad, and all of my friends that are up there!
Tomorrow I have a job interview! I am super excited, this is the one company I have always wanted to work for and finally a job opened up that fits with my background. It is just a phone interview, and there is not to much pressure since I have a job I really like, but for the past two years I have stalked this company's website waiting for this specific job to open and it finally has! Wish me luck :-)
After that I am sure I will get cocktails with my hubby, we usually do that on Friday night.
Saturday I have no set plans besides pick up my BB. My H is working during the day so I will probably go shopping or something, I am going to NY for a wedding next weekend and I could use some cute fall clothes for that trip.
Sunday we are going to a hotel pool here in VEgas, we have a friend who works for a liquor distributor and they have a bunch of cabanas and free booze, so I am of course there!
Monday no plans, I will probably clean up the house a bit and pack for NY, I leave on Thursday morning. It is days like that I wish we had a Dos Gringos here in Vegas, or some other cool chill outdoor bar that is great for day drinking.

At least it's a four day weekend for me - I took tomorrow off, so I don't go back to work until Tuesday. WOOT. I wanted to mentally prepare myself for next week as it is our annual audit.

Thanks! I love AZ 88 too. They have really good burgers and one of my favorite beers...of which unfortunately I will not be partaking tonight.
I'm babysitting my nephew tonight.
Tomorrow (Sat) we'll be watching some college football and then I'm meeting Jaye up for dinner to have a late celebration of her birthday!
MH and I were hoping to get massages on Sunday. Other than that, not a ton planned!
