Anyone have a chemical-free way to clean an oven? Thanks!!

Re: Cleaning the oven?
Does it have a self-cleaner? You could use that. I haven't ever ran mine, but I think it just bakes the gunk off so make sure you use it when you can open windows.
Baking soda, vinegar and a lot of elbow grease?
Sorry, I'm not too much help. I usually put a cookie sheet or cake pan under anything I'm baking that might overflow. I hate cleaning ovens so I try really hard not to get mine dirty.

Thanks!
I used baking soda, a little vinegar and water, and it worked great!?
Equal parts Lemon Juice and Salt, make a paste, spread it on the burnt spills, let sit 15 minutes. And then use a green scrubber to scrub it off. It works really well!
I'm doing a post on my blog on this exact subject, this thursday as part of our getting ready for fall series!
