Maybe I'll finally try a Diva cup
I haven't had AF in a long time, between being pregnant and nursing.. but I finally got my period. I can't say I am happy about the return of AF, but I have only had a handful of periods since 2006, and I have "gone a lot greener" since then, so I am definitely looking forward to trying something like a Diva cup, perhaps backed up with cloth pads or something.
It is amazing how much I have gotten into being green since having kids. I always considered myself eco-friendly etc, but now it is such a huge part of my life.
Re: Maybe I'll finally try a Diva cup
I don't use a Diva cup because it's green.
I use it because it's better.
Honestly, I haven't looked back in 7 years. It's just so much better than "normal" products.

Me, too. That DC is "green" is a nice side-effect, but not the reason I've been using it for 3 or 4 years. It's budget-friendly (I bought it for $35 and have been using it for years--would have spent $$$$$ on tampons in that time), doesn't cause TSS, and being able to leave it in for 12 hours means that I don't have to worry about being able to change/empty it at work or during the night.
It's the next best thing to not having a period at all.
*snort* I LOL'd when I read this and my co-worker was like, "What's so funny?" Ohhhh there's no way I could explain that to him...
