Good Morning Ladies! Happy Friday!
What are your plans this holiday weekend?
Today: Work till 4pm, dinner with Dh and then going to visit my G-Mom in the hospital, she had knee replacement surgery on Tuesday.
Tomorrow: Going to the State Fair with Dh, Dh has to work his company's booth and some friends are meeting us there, so I will not be alone for 6 hours when Dh is done. No plans for the evening yet.
Sunday: We are going to my parents house to have birthday dinner with them, my brother and "SIL".
Monday: I have a Dr appt. in the morning, Dh has to work a few hours in the morning and we don't have any other plans as of right now.
Have a great weekend!!!
Re: TGIF!! Weekend Plans???
We are going to the NYS Fair on Sunday! I've never gone before - what should I expect?
Monday we are going to the Red Wing's last game of the season.
Next week my grad class starts, so I'm going to enjoy my last "free" weekend until next summer!
We have nothing planned and I'm psyched. One weekend without everything all blocked out and timed. thank goodness!
Probably just enjoying the weather...maybe dog park with Bentley and food/drinks w/friends at some point im sure!
Moxy- have fun! I've lived an hour away most of my life and have only been once. I am not a ride person, so I basically just eat and drink my way around and enjoy looking at the animals, etc. I also like the NY wine and beer tents, and the butter sculpture is a tradition to see. Seems like a big waste of butter though, lol. Have fun!
Date night with DH tonight- a movie and drinks out afterwards
Tomorrow- painting in the house and making a couple of apps and some vodka slushies for a party we're going to on Sunday.
Sunday - a picnic with friends
Monday- working on the house. More painting. I swear I'll be an expert when this is all done.
Well since I have lived in the same city as the fair my whole life I have been too many times to count. You will find the BEST chocolate milk ever for only 25 cents a cup, food everywhere, , the butter sculpture is always a big deal, good ice cream in the dairy building, a sand sculpture in a Beatles theme this year, baked potatoes for a dollar, a lot of animals, you can hold a baby chick or just watch them hatch, more food, I always like the center of progress building which has all sorts of "as seen on tv" products, I'm not sure what the free concerts are that day but some have been pretty good, and more food. Anyways, my favorite is the milk! Wow, apparently I LOVE the fair.
Tonight: Tim McGraw concert at the fair
Tomorrow: Rochester for my cousin's wedding reception, they got married in Hawaii last month
Sunday and Monday: not much!
