I tried to put a pair of pants on Anna this morning that fit her last week, and there was no getting them over her little bum. So, with her baptism planned for Sunday, I thought I better try on her gown tonight. Yep... doesn't fit. The arms are fine, length obviously fine, but the button in the back at the widest part of her chest actually *pulls* Not even is it just a little tight (those are the other 2 buttons). The cotton looks like it could rip accidentally; it's that tight. It's my own stupidity for not trying it on her when we bought it and making sure there was plenty of room, but now I have to get down to Wrentham to exchange it before Sunday... and I have to clean the house and make food for 30 people. So here I go to start dusting.
Re: Venting... Stupid mistake
Oh that stinks! Where did you get her outfit, if you don't mind me asking?
Good luck getting that all done. I'm sure it'll come together.
Thanks for the encouragement
Luckily DH and I have perfected the art of quick cleaning- so we have it all done, waiting to vacuum till later with our Golden Retriever's hair. So really it's not that bad. I just have to cook a few things that are tried and true recipes that I know well, so those are pretty simple.
Beth- We got her gown at Strasburg- They had cute rompers and suits too, if that's more your style
