Boarding Dogs in Spartanburg/Greenville

We have two very energetic lab puppies.  They are 7 months old.  In a couple weeks, we need to board them for the first time.  They are used to being outdoors and have a 1/2 acre fenced in backyard that they play in all day.  Does anybody know a good place to board them?  We live in Lyman and do not mind traveling some, but closer is better.  I am concerned that they are not used to being in a small area and are so young that they need places to run and play.

Re: Boarding Dogs in Spartanburg/Greenville

  • I'm not sure how young they accept dogs, but somewhere like Camp Bow Wow has an all-day play thing.  We've boarded our dog several times at the one in Columbia and were really happy with them.  They play during the morning, take an hour nap mid-day, then play in the afternoon.  At night, you can request that they be in the same "cabin" or they can have their own.  We felt really safe with them and like our dog was in good hands.  Also, you can monitor them online via a live feed, so it's fun to check in.  However, they can be pricey and you have to do an interview to make sure that your dog is a good fit.
  • Thank you for the info.  I found a few places online that have the play time.  I just want some personal recommendations so I know I am leaving them in good hands.
