Garlic in raised bed

I have raised garlic for years. I usually plant it in a little plot by my garage. My mother made a raised herb garden in my yard this summer.  I was wondering if I could plant my garlic in it this fall.  It is 2'x5' long and about a foot high.  I live in northeast Ohio.  I know I would need to add some more soil to it and have plenty of mulch to cover the soil once I plant the garlic.  Thanks!

i don't know about your climate restrictions, but I planted garlic in my raised beds last fall and it did fine.

I've been researching container growing garlic and 12 inches is plenty if you can spare the space for the long haul

Thanks!  I think I am going to try it this year.  The soil in the raised bed is better than where I had beed planting before.  Hopefully I will get bigger bulbs!!!

This will be our third year growing garlic in a raised bed- works fine so far!
