PSA - Nat'l Thyriod Cancer Month
I just wanted to let everyone know that September is thyroid cancer awareness month. For those of you who may not know I am a thyroid cancer survivor now for a little under a year so this PSA is near and dear to my heart.
Thyroid cancer is one of the few cancers that has a increasing incident rate. Experts estimate that there may be as many as 44K new diagnoses in the US this year (2009s estimate was 39K).
